According to a recent Newsweek/Daily Beast poll, Americans are mad about just about everything. From the President and congress to the lack of jobs and local traffic we are a nation of boiling personages. I'll join the bandwagon here for a short time and list a few of the things that irk me:
1. Commercials at a volume greater than the TV show.
2. Greedy celebrities.
3. Created drama.
4. Sliding, rolling stops at stop signs.
5. Shady politicians.
6. Fast food personnel using bare hands to handle food.
7. The same personnel coughing into their hands and then delivering food to tables without a stop at the sink between.
8. Big bags of chips that are 50% air.
9. Polyester....not again?
10. Scratch number 9 because I am becoming rather fond, again, of a fabric that never needs to be ironed and whose color never fades.
11. TV shows that claim to be news but have become celebrity soapboxes for political causes that they don't seem to know much about, or anything about, but sometimes find a political cause and that, hey big surprise, coincides with their new movie or new book, neither of which could be called art or literature (Oh my, that was a rant).
And that's it for now. And that's what I think about it.
